Alumni Verifications and Loan Deferment Requests
The Registrar of Internal Medicine may only verify Internal Medicine Residency Training for graduates of one of the three Yale Internal Medicine Residency Programs; Yale Traditional Internal Medicine Residency Program, Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program (Waterbury), and Yale Combined Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program. As of October 20th, 2009 the Department will charge a fee of $40.00 for each Internal Medicine Residency Training Verification Request. Make checks payable to “Yale University Department of Internal Medicine.”

Student Loan Forbearance / Deferment Requests
Most student loan forbearance or deferment forms require interns and residents to obtain a signature from an authorized official of the residency program, dates of residency and sometimes a department seal in order to complete processing. If you are a resident of an Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program, please submit your forms to the address below.
